I have thought about, re doing the game in a standard layout. With the level facing vertically instead of horizontally. I have also thought about doing a 3d version for Desktop, DS, GameCube/Wii or 3DS even. But not sure what the interest would be. I had planned to do more with the game, but having too much action on screen on the SNES is a balancing act, between reasonable speed and action. Would you like to see a new version on the SNES only or do you think I should put it out on to others? A MegaDrive version could also be possible or I could do a MegaDrive version using some sort of Sonic Enemy possibly, like motobugs or something?
Its still going on, hopefully will be in a finished state soon. Good luck with your MAG, looks good. Hopefully I will have some stuff for you to check out in the future. Currently also working on a GameBoy Advanced port of one of my DS games, when it is in a more finished state, I will post it up for people to check out - which might be next week sometime.
Can we ask you to upload a free clean screenshots of you game? :) We could then easily grab them and shameless use them to illustrate your game in our magazinne :) Thank you!
Sorry about that, there were screenshots, but I did'nt have them set to display. I will hopefully post up my GBA game tomorrow, once I have created some graphics for its page. It is a Sonic Based Game, based on MegaDrive Sonic games and assets.
Thanks for your comment, I think it will make a fun little game. I am not quite sure what you mean though, do you mean having normal bricks - but with the picture of the Goombas on them?
I personally think it is best not to use Goombas at all - but that is your choice. Bricks would be simpler, but maybe a cute enemy in the style of the Goombas/Mario enemies?

Thanks, I am glad you like it and appreciate you spreading the word, as I haven't done this myself.

Nice :) We will keep an eye on that one!

PS: There can never be enough GBA homebrews :)

you gotta be careful with unlicensed fanwork. many companies do not appreciate that.
This is a fun idea - although it might be better to redesign the Goombas and have them as a hidden skin/option.

I'm reacting similarly... mostly from a commercial perspective, citing Nintendo, and mainly due to the characters.
