Update 1


I thought I would give a quick update on the project, so this is a list of what I have changed so far. I have added some more Goomba colour variations and tweaked their tiles slightly. As the current static Goomba's are using 16 colour background tiles, I can easily add more variety, by drawing them with another colour palette. I have also added 16x16 pixel Icons for the showing score, Lives and Level/World info. As well as also adding a 8x16 set of Numbers for the in game display of scores, ect. The current fonts in game are using the 4 colour mode, background 3 tiles. Which i think look ok. The 16x16 Font is now used to display in game messages and the title on the title screen. But I may switch them out in the future for 16 colour tiles or create some custom graphics instead for game messages and or the title text. I have added some code to work with the larger Font tiles. No real gameplay changes in this update.  The next main update will change the gameplay, as I will be switching from drawing both the bat and the ball as background tiles to sprites, which will give them smoother movement as they will no longer be restricted to moving 8 pixels at a time. My plan is to also introduce another type of Goomba which will run around the levels, and thus cause more dis-array.
