Super RingDash
Super Ring Dash
Choose your player to dash around various mazes and collect the rings, but beware - they are guarded by various enemies who will kill you on contact, if they catch you!
To aid you in your quest, there are various Powerup's, contained in sealed monitors. If you destroy one, your player will go into super mode, and become invincible for a short period of time. The game is similar to a Pac Man style of game.
Good Luck.
This is a new game for the Super Nintendo, it is based on my previous game for the GameBoy advance, except this version will not be a free game. This version also has supports larger levels! The demo features 8 standard playable characters and currently lacks a number of additional features I plan to add, like level select, random level lists and Duo mode, which means you alternate play, using 2 players instead of just the one. The Demo also only features 4 levels currently, which are only for the Demo version, these levels will be swapped out in the full version. There are now 2 music tracks included, so the game doesn't feel bare. These will be replaced or updated in the release version.
I plan to release the full game mid November, for 5$. There will be an opportunity for 8 additional players to be added to the game, but only for paying customers, and it will be first come first served on the new player front. But anyone purchasing a copy after the first new 8 players, may still be granted their request. I also plan to have 20 standard levels using 10 tilesets for background, 5 themes will be from Sonic games and 5 from Mario games. If enough people purchase copies of the game, then I will also look to add more levels and some more music tracks.
If you have any questions then please comment below.
Many Thanks Bri

The songs are such bangers :D I like how you managed the controls at the outside corners. Overall feels so good :)
Thanks, I have more songs planned. I have a version of Sonic Master System Bridge and plan to add a few more, like a Green Hill track and possibly a Super Mario World one. I was not sure if the SNES controllers were good with diagonals first off - and didn't include any corner assist. But soon after testing on my SNES I realised it was very much needed.
Hi, it's me again. I'm sorry, but can you add Baaren to the SNES version of the Super RingDash game? By the way, I created a character sprite sheet for the game!)
I am only looking to add characters which are linked to either Mario Games or Sonic Games into the RingDash game. Super Bear Adventure also looks like a 3D game, so there are no actual 2D sprites to use either or base game art from. I will be adding new characters to the Game after it is launched, but only to people who purcase a copy and only 8 New characters are planned at present. And it will be on a first come first served, kind of basis. I recommend getting a copy of Libre Sprite for 2D graphics also, and for the SNES you will need to be strict with colours and sizes for your sprites. If you can find a character linked to the old Sonic or Mario games, that is a bear - then I will happily look to convert them for you if you are one of the first 8 in the line. Thanks
What a nice surprise in the morning :)
You should join the SNESDEV Game Jam 2025 ;)
Thanks, I may consider joining if i get more involved with creating music between now and then. I have a load of videos on my Youtube channel on SNES Dev in C using PVSnesLib and also my own custom graphics converter if you are interested. The Graphics converter code is supplied with the App if required. The GUI is my own simple immediate mode and the Converter works via simple drag and drop of your image onto it. Retro C Game Programming is the channel.
